Safety Devices
We comply with the manufacturers Safety Regulations which were introduced to prevent strangulation in young children from blind cords. We fit safety devices where supplied and urge our customers to do so if installing blinds themselves.

Cancellation of made to measure orders and fabric will result in 100% refund if the work is not started or fabric is not cut or despatched. After that only the value of the order less costs incurred up to that point can be refunded. Made to measure products are unlikely to be able to be resold and therefore we are unable to give a full refund. In other situations the fabric can be cancelled depending on the supplier but will be liable to a restocking/administration fee.
Bespoke tracks and poles cannot be returned unless faulty or incorrectly measured by our estimator. Standard items can possibly be returned but may be subject to a restocking fee. Where incorrect measurements were provided by the customer we cannot give refunds.
In all cases we will try to work with you to try to achieve a satisfactory solution to the problem.

Installation
Please ensure the area where we will be fitting is clear of ornaments, appliances and furniture.
We will assume that the area is of normal construction and that there are no cables or pipes under the surface. The walls or wood into which we need to attach hanging apparatus must be in a condition that allows us to easily obtain good fixings for the tracks, poles and battens.
If we install motorised tracks we do not carry out electrical connections, you must employ a qualified Electrician to do this.
The customer must let us know at the time of ordering if there are any hidden pipes, conduits or cables or access problems. If you do not inform us there may be an additional charge if extra time is needed or additional materials required. You must ensure that when we carry out the work it will not affect any warranties or guarantees.
For the avoidance of doubt we will not be responsible for carrying out any building work, moving furniture or for any invalidation of warranties that we were not informed about in writing prior to work commencing.

In accordance with GDPR please inform us if you wish us to remove your details from our system after completion of the project.
We have the right to revise these terms and conditions to reflect the business, changes to the market, changes in payment and change to laws and regulations.
PRODUCT AFTERCARE FOR CURTAINS & BLINDS
Curtains can take some time to relax in their environment, any initial creasing will usually drop out with a few weeks.
We will be happy to steam your curtains (depending on the fabric) if creasing does not fall out.
Some natural fabrics may contract and stretch according to the environment.
Please allow 14 days for your curtains to settle before you contact us to make any necessary alterations or carry out remedial work.
Vacuum your Curtains & Blinds regularly using a soft brush attachment or use a light brush to keep them dust and dirt free.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by cleaning your curtains or blinds by any other method, including dry-cleaning.
Regular re-dressing of the curtains may be required to maintain appearance. This will help drapes to remain in place. The tightening of the drapes within the tie-backs or hold backs can help the curtains to remain fixed in place.
With Chenille and Velvet fabrics the pile may flatten in areas. This may result in a 'shaded' area on contact areas but this is normal for this type of fabric. Vacuum using a brush attachment to reduce flattening.
In the event of an accidental stain we strongly recommend the use of a specialist cleaning company who are experienced in cleaning curtains and roman blinds.
Avoid washing your curtains in a domestic washing machine. The drum will be too small and cause the fabric to crease, wear and potentially lose colour as well as shrink.
If your room suffers from condensation on the windows, this could result in the build-up of mould on your curtain lining. Mould is very difficult to remove effectively without discolouring fabric, so take preventative measures to keep mould at bay.
If you have ordered co-ordinating scatter cushions with your curtains, plump them up regularly to maintain their shape and appearance.
We are not responsible for the maintenance or reassembly of child safety features on our made to measure blinds, tracks and poles.
Please use a silicone based lubricant on tracks and poles from time to time to help keep curtains running smoothly.
